Animals such as snowshoe hares 
can be tracked by following their footprints in the snow - when 80% of the active trail is tracked, it will appear in the minimap.
The hotspot is shown in red. It indicates the most likely place that you will be able to snare an animal.
Snowshoe hares are most active between 10pm and 6am.
